The weather outsite will not be frightful!
When I get to Addis on Monday, it should be in the mid 70's during the day and mid 40's at night. Not a bad way to spend a week! This will be my last post for awhile. I may be able to post from Addis-I will try. I am so excited for this adventure! If you think about us, please pray...for strength, understanding, an uneventful flight and trip. And if the trip is eventful, the patience to get through it! Thanks for all your support!

I'm reading all of this with goose bumps on my arms and tears in my eyes. I still wish I was going to Africa with you and I can't wait to meet your daughters. I feel like you're taking me on an adventure and I'm so grateful and honored you have seen fit to include me in it.
When I got home last night from dropping the picture off at your house, I told Ryan you were leaving this weekend and he got excited. Then when I told him I had gotten them a gift last night, he told me he wanted to do something for the girls. And then when I told him we are going to go to the airport when you come home, he got really excited and said he can't wait to meet them. I almost cried, Deb! I was blessed and touched by his genuine excitement and I'm sure he will enjoy being an older "cousin" as much as I will enjoy being their aunty.
I love you, I love your family and I already love your daughters. Come home soon...I can hardly wait!
